JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Notification Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Notification on 31 October 2025. Students aiming for B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, or B.Planning admissions in India’s top engineering colleges can now fill out their JEE Main 2026 application form online.

This exam serves as the gateway to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). For aspirants targeting the JEE Advanced 2026, this is the first and most crucial step.

JEE Main 2026: Exam Details and Pattern

The JEE Main 2026 will be held in two sessions –

  • Session 1: January 2026

  • Session 2: April 2026

It will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Main 2026 Eligibility & Key Points

  • Candidates can apply only once for each session.

  • Application mode: Online only via jeemain.nta.nic.in.

  • A single Application Number will be used for both sessions.

  • The email ID and mobile number must belong to the candidate or their parent/guardian.

  • The result will be declared by 12 February 2026 (tentative).

  2. Click on “JEE Main 2026 Registration”.

  3. Register using your email ID and mobile number.

  4. Fill in personal and educational details carefully.

  5. Upload required documents in the correct format.

  6. Pay the examination fee online.

  7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
